iPad Repair hotplate

This is our Hotplate tool, used to remove iPad and iPhone screens. We also use it for other tasks such as motherboard preheating during component replacement. When a tablet screen is replaced, we place the tablet face down for 30 minutes at 80c to ensure the glue has a strong bond. We then clamp the screen for at least 4 hours to make sure the bond is lasting! If this procedure is not carried out, the replacement glass can simply fall out!
